Read MoreIf I could give this place 0 stars I would. The care I received here was so bad I’m driving back to my hometown in Georgia to see my old endocrinologist. Office staff often isn’t super helpful, not to mention Dr borchelt seems to want to do the bare minimum for his paycheck. Won’t give out samples of literally anything, even when I am in a dire need of insulin. My second appointment, I was 5 minutes late due to the train and instead of a warm greeting Dr borchelt walked in and said “You’re late. You need to be here 15 minutes before your appointment, not 5 minutes late.” Also switched me to an insulin just because their EHR system said my insurance would approve it. He had no knowledge about it. The insulin isn’t approved to be used in an insulin pump, but I trusted my doctor. I reported side effects and issues I was having and he said “hm, you should call Tinsley, our tandem rep. She will be able to help you navigate” this office is terrible, Dr borchelt is bottom of the barrel endocrinology & you deserve to go somewhere else.
