He was a good doctor when I first started to see him before the pandemic started. His visits have turned into 10 minutes and it seems he has no time to talk to you because the next patient is waiting. The medications he prescribes don't get to the right pharmacy and it takes days to get it corrected because the person in charge of that task does not answer the phone or calls you back. I had to call my insurance company after waiting for two weeks to have all the prescriptions sent to the mail order pharmacy which has been in my chart for years. I also asked for an over the counter medication to be prescribed so I could get a discount from the manufacturer and Dr. Alvarado would not prescribe it although its a medication I always take when I get the flu, which is the only medication that helps me breeth and dries my nose so I can inhale and not feel like I'm going to die. His reason was because I have high blood pressure eventhough its under control and I had to hear this from the receptionist who was the only one I could speak with. Its a shame, doctors don't care about what you need or what works for you and only want to talk to you when you are paying for the visit. Shameful what senior patients have to go thru in this new age of so called healthcare.
