Read MoreJust wasted over an hour and a half with this office. Last winter, doctor told me I needed to get my blood work done. I asked if I was supposed to go there for that or go to a Lab. She said come here. We open early and you’ll be in and out. So I finally make an appt for fasting blood work for 9:15 this morning, and it was to be with a nurse. They sent me reminders, and links to fill out paperwork in advance, which I did. I live 30 minutes away from their office, so I drive an hour, round trip, without traffic. I arrive at 9:15 and sign in. 9:30 someone shows up for her appt, waits 5 minutes and is called back. 9:40, someone shows up for their 9:45 and sits down. I ask the front desk person if they know I had a 9:15, and she said Yes, so-and-so is about to come out to talk to you. ? Talk to me?
I sit back down. 7-8 minutes later a nurse calls me back and says “why are you here”. I say to get my blood work done. Dr said I needed to do that at my last visit. She said we were wondering why you were here. She then goes on to say that I was told I need to make an appt for a physical, and then I can get blood work done after that appt. Then asked if I wanted to step back out and make an appointment. I say So I cant get my blood work done now? She says no.
NO!??? I said You couldn’t have told me this a half an hour ago?????? And left, livid!
My OB asked me yesterday if I’d had my blood work done recently and I told her I was having it done this morning. So I called their office to see if they could do my blood work, and she made my appt right then. Just come on in and we can take care of that for you.
Dr. Hussains staff wasted my morning, I fasted for nothing, and I will not be back. There is no excuse for someone not calling me ahead of my appointment if it was a problem. And NO, I was told getting my blood work there would be quick, in and out, so having a physical done at the same time was not discussed at my last appointment.
This is not how to run a business. Stay away.
