I felt deceived, misled, mistreated, and humiliated today by Magdy Gad and his team.Several months ago, I was seen by Magdy Gad because my filling chipped off. He examined the tooth and said that I needed a filling. Since I was pregnant at the time, I opted to wait after I delivered my twin babies to get the filling. I did come back to get a cleaning per his recommendation. When I came back, Alina Gad performed the cleaning and examined the affected tooth, and she also said I needed a filling. She said when I’m ready after delivery, just book an appointment for the filling.When I was ready to get the filling, I called the office and booked my appointment several weeks in advance. It is extremely difficult for me to leave the house for anything since I have twins at home. I had to arrange for my sister to drive up from Orange County to help watch my babies so I could go to the dentist.I came into the office today, took an x-ray and Magdy Gad said I needed to book another appointment and come back again to get the filling since they were “too busy” today to do it!!! What!? How many times do I need to be seen and examined to get a simple filling that takes 30 minutes to perform??? This was a huge inconvenience for me. It was a real ordeal for me to even come in. They knew I was coming in for the filling that we had discussed in each of my two previous visits. He claimed they didn’t know. Well, the first thing Gad said to me when he saw me today was, “Hi how are you? Ready for the filling?” How did he all of a sudden forget? Also, isn’t it the dentist’s professional responsibility to review the patient’s files before seeing the patient? They gave me all kinds of excuses to send me home and was extremely rude and dismissive.They were completely unprofessional and wasted not only my time, but my family’s time as well. I have never been to a dental office where I need to be seen and examined three times and still cannot get a simple filling procedure done! Even worse, they tried to blame me for their incompetence and poor time management. Please be careful. I don’t want what happened to me to happen to you!
