I went to pick up a prescription today and they won't let you into the building without a mask and using their hand sanitizer. People who are asthmatic and with other conditions aren't supposed to wear masks and a lot of Hand sanitizer is bad for you. Then after doing all that you still have to sit outside and wait?? Why clean my hands to sit outside?? Am I not supposed to touch anything while I sit and wait in the sun? Absolutely ridiculous!! was in the emergency room last weekend for a really bad asthma attack particularly caused by being sick and particularly from work being done at my house. I did what the doctors at the hospital said to do and by the end of the week I was still not feeling 100% so I emailed my doctor to let her know and find out if I needed to be seen. My doctor then told me email is for non medical emergencies and I should go to the emergency room or urgent care. I then told her again I was at the emergency room when I couldn't breath and it was an emergency but it is not for a follow up appointment. She tells me a nurse will call me. The nurse calls and tells me I should be seen but I need to go to the respiratory. I told her that doesn't make sense I just need to see the doctor for a follow up. She tells me all respiratory issues go there now. I asked if covid patients are sent there she said yes. Wait a second, you have people with breathing issues and put them in the same room with covid patients and you think that's ok?? Covid has a 99% survival rate when you are healthy but when you have respiratory issues like asthma or COPD and get covid you will end up in the hospital or worse, so why would Kaiser do that?? Are they trying to kill people?? Then my daughter went to pick up my inhaler(mine was empty) and she was turned away at the door 10 minutes before the pharmacy closes and told she wasn't allowed in. She explained she just need to get my prescriptions including an inhaler I needed to stay alive and was still told no and sent away. Kaiser is trying to kill people! I ended up having to go to another Kaiser in Garden Grove. I called them and explained what had happened and they said they would fill the prescriptions. I get there and they didn't fill the inhaler and argued with me over filling it, they finally filled it but lost yes LOST my other prescription. The tech then spoke with another tech who said that 3 other prescriptions went missing that day as well. I left without the missing prescription. Kaiser has gone downhill and uses covid as an excuse. I was at the hospital and they had empty beds in the ER and no Covid cases. I was in and out of Kaiser offices that are all almost empty but they say they are all over crowded due to covid. Lies and propaganda!! Kaiser is trying to make people sick and denying them medicine that people need. I am switching health care providers ASAP. One last thing Kaiser does not administrator the covid test properly. Anyone in the medical field knows one swab per test area kaiser uses the same swab to collect samples from 2 different areas. The hospital did a covid test and did it properly 1 swab 1 area #kaiserpermanente #Kaiser #kaiserkills #kaiserbad #kaiserisbad
