My mother’s appt was at 3, we arrived at 2:30 so that we could complete new patient paperwork before the appt. We were called back about 3:15, two students came in and evaluated my mom then left us for about 45 mins before the doctor came in. He came in with those students and 1 more for a total of 3 students, he evaluated my mom some more. Then he said he was going to go do some paperwork then have bloodwork completed and give us prescriptions to add additional medicine and up the dosage of her original medicine as well as give us follow-up instructions for the MRI & follow-up appt etc. he left and came back about 5:15 and walked me up to the front where the bloodwork would be done. There he saw that the office staff had already left for the day and said he couldn’t give me any of the follow-up items because they were gone and that we could not get the bloodwork done today. He said he would call me with follow-up instructions. And that he would make arrangements for the bloodwork to be completed somewhere locally. We were there for almost 3 hours total & really didn’t get one thing accomplished and I plan to find another neurologist for my mom. This is a terrible way to treat elderly people.
