"I have always found the following qualities essential ingredients for the making of a good doctor:
Approachable, intelligent, interested, decisive, compassionate and caring. Treating patients as a human being rather than "next person in line". Takes time to listen and communicate honestly and effectively with patients, having technical skills, being competent and is knowledgeable in his area of expertise. A great doctor knows and remembers his/her patients and treats them with a kind heart as if they were one of their own family member"
If you are looking for all this and more in a surgeon then don't look further! I myself had a breast reduction done 20 years ago at the age of 16. Unfortunately for me they grew to a G-cup after giving birth to my son Giovanni in November 2012. I visit couple times Dr. Geldwert's office at Kaiser Permanente in Fontana, CA and there were couple concerns about doing my breast reduction surgery again, because it was such a long time ago that I had it done… My first breast reduction surgery was done in Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Europe). Unfortunately I didn't have any documents from that procedure in my possession. Which brought up some questions for Dr. Geldwert. How was he to cut? What was he going to find? Was it possible to do the surgery? I assume he had more questions/worries about this than me. I just wanted to get it done asap and I can live a shoulder/neck pain free life and focus on my 1 year old son. After couple consultations I finally got the call the week before Christmas 2013. They had a cancelation and if I still wanted the operation. Of course I said YES! His assistant gave me the same day an appointment for a pre-up to make sure I was in good health and I got my surgery done the next day at the Kaiser Permanente in Ontario, CA. Dr. Geldwert was fantastic and his staff was super nice, my only regret was that I had to go home the same day and couldn't stay for couple nights. That's how fantastic the doctor and the staff was! It's been now 6 weeks after my surgery and I feel great. Dr. Gelwert and his staff did an amazing job, my breasts never looked better, my scars are barely noticeable and yes they are even more beautiful now than they were after my surgery from 20 years ago. If my breasts ever grow back (lets hope not) at least I know which surgeon to look up. Thank you for the best Christmas present ever Dr. Geldwert! Bho Heuvel-Cigliano (Ramirez)
