Read MoreMy son was a patient at this office for a number of years until a recent international move, and I feel that the care he received was extraordinary from the perspective of pediatric allergies. We specifically saw Dr Fogg who came highly recommended to us, and I believe Dr Fogg is one of the best pediatric specialists my children have ever seen.
My child is almost 13 and has been identified as having anaphylactic food allergies since he was an infant. We have lived in three states as well as an international move, and have probably seen some of the most top specialists in the country over the course of our many moves. We also had some very negative experiences with offices that were inept. In other words, we have seen the spectrum of good, awful, and excellent, and so I write this review with a very thorough understanding of both food allergies as a food allergy parent and also office care.
My son switched over to Dr. Fogg after a very traumatic experience at Nemours Allergy Philadelphia. Dr Fogg came highly recommended to us in the local Philadelphia and surrounding area FARE group. Dr Fogg is exceptional.
In addition to easy appointments, short waiting time, knowledgeable and efficient nurses and staff, and all of the other minor needs surrounding professional office visits, Dr Fogg goes above and beyond, understands the nuance and ongoing research of food allergies, and is caring and kind.
When my child suffered to extreme anaphylactic episodes, Dr Fogg understood exactly what had transpired and next best steps and what to avoid. When my child experienced a minor panic attack over his allergies, we brought him in to speak with Dr Fogg, who broke down his food allergies for him and helped instruct and reassure him. When my husband and I were puzzled over cross-contamination questions, Dr Fogg was able to share information with us in a manner that was informative and helpful.
Over the years that we were in that office, Dr Fogg also tracked my sons allergy numbers very carefully and was able to identify when my son was ready for a food challenge. In this way, my son was able to safely be tested in office and we learned that he had outgrown some of his allergies during his time under Dr Fogg‘s care.
Due to my sons many food allergies and history of unusual allergic response, I would on occasion need to call the office after hours and was always met with concern and helpful care.
I will always be grateful to Dr Fogg and this office for their sensitivity, professionalism, and truly incredible insight into food allergies and specifically my son’s needs and care. I could not recommend them more highly.
