about a month ago, I went through a scary and harrowing experience that landed me in the ER with wounds in my neck and extensive damage and rips to my earlobe and cartilage.
Dr. Mistry was an integral part of the team that fixed me up in the OR, (and the only doctor from that team who also followed up in person).
he thoroughly and efficiently conducted the examination of the wounds in my neck/throat area (done to ensure the damage assesed by the team was accurate and comprehensive), and also stitched my ear back together with skill and finesse (the person who took the stitches out a couple weeks after complimented how tiny and neat they were and praised the quality). He accomplished all of this efficiently and personally updated my brother in the waiting room on my status.
my ear as been healing beautifully and looks so remarkably NORMAL. the scars are so tiny and unnoticeable, that it's hard to imagine that it had been so ripped up prior to the OR.
had my last required post-op appointment with Dr Mistry himself today. His energy and the way he conducts himself has a competent and warm effect that caused me to feel safe, at ease, and cared for (which is rare for me in medical situations because I've had so much anxiety in the past surrounding doctors and healthcare).
Even though the appointment was brief (less than 15 minutes), I did not feel rushed by him or the staff. He met my questions and comments with patience and empathy.
He was professional, respectful, and kind. He made it clear that I was taken care of would continue to be should any concerns or complications arise.
