My experience was great everything went so fast and smooth. The week of my surgery I was called and checked on every other day till surgery. They provide a ride for your safe I'm happy I used it cause I didn't want my family waiting such a long time for me. My appt was at 12:30pm but I didn't have my surgery till 5:30pm. Man when I tell you everyone and their momma was having this surgery you would have thought this was a free giveaway lottery that they won. I'm not going to lie there were time I asked myself am i making the right decision. Why! Cause when someone came out of the surgery room they were crying out of pain good thing the nurses know what to do to help them come back to the light. When I went in I was happy, scared, nervous, questioning is this what I want out loud. The nurse spoke to me and relaxed my nerves put me to sleep when I woke up. Lord was I happy that everything went well. I asked them to take me off the drugs and I want to walk. That gas pain is nothing to reckon with I didn't feel the incisions I felt the GAS pain. The nurses help me walk and release some gas pain by burping over and over. Burping hurt but felt so good at the same time cause no gas pain. At the recovery hotel I stayed my nurse Jonathan was waiting on me and he is amazing he helped, explained, comforted, and checked up on me everytime my eyes opened he was there. He helped me release almost all my gas before going home the next morning. Going home I wish was with me so he can help me with my gas pain n all these medications. But its day three in I feel a little bit better still some pain...oh I pass gas for the first time yesterday and did that feel good but I haven't gone yet. All I'm able to take in is water homemade broth. Let me tell you about that store broth it was disgusting it made me throw up my stomach but when I got some homemade broth oh yeah my stomach mouth, tongue, esophagus, and my stomach agreed to it. Lord knows I was hungry too. If you don't know how to make homemade broth go to a Haitian restaurant and ask for the broth only from the soup they made. Period! there's more but I have to end this review just know everything is a choice and a journey I'm on my journey to healthy living. Good luck everyone hope this help you out.
