Alas, the back office are sadly lacking.I get the feeling staff are rotated.
My second Appt there I did not receive a reminder call. I thought this office might not be set up yet. I arrived for my appt. No Record of it. Suggestion for me to stay anyway. I did, left after 45 minutes without seeing a Dr.
Ok so these things happen.
August, 30 th I had another Appt. that I canceled and changed to Sept 6 th with follow up on 13 th. I’m very wary of Appointments since my second one went wrong so I write them into my calendar.
No reminder call for the 6 th day before was Labour day. So I didn’t go. It’s a bit of a trek to PGA so I don’t need to go on a wild goose chase, again. Instead I get a reminder on the 7 th to go on 8 th.!!!!!
No way was I going on the 8 th. I had not agreed to go on the 8 th.
So, I still have not gone for that visit. To be honest, I’m a tad miffed about what happened.
Then to top all that….last Friday I received a bill from the Drs office. It stated clearly, I OWED 480.00 acct total. PAY THIS AMOUNT.
BALANCE FROM A 1440.00 bill that Ins paid 567.00
No ifs ands or buts, I owed 480.00
I became alarmed and upset. I called my Ins Co. who told me to IGNORE IT. I said, it states clearly, I OWE THE MONEY…THEY SAID NO YOU DO NOT.
Now, if I were senile, or did not have all my faculties, or was in any way confused….I might write that Cheque for that “ BILL” I think someone needs to monitor these bills prior to their being sent.
Meanwhile, I’m practicing “ cooling off”
