My wife recently checked herself in to the stress unit and even though after the required 72 hours, both her therapist and her medical doctor had cleared her to be discharged, Dr. Mayer refused to sign off, giving no reason for doing so, even admitting that he knew good and well she was OK to leave. When questioned by both the patient, her partner, and the staff, he became rude and simply stalked off. This man is a very lucrative lawsuit waiting to happen.
