I was disrespected on multiple visits including direct and indirect forms of racism. The staff act as if they’re doing you a favor and lack competence in their ability to relate to patients empathetically to understand individual needs. While waiting in the exam room for the clinician, I clearly heard the entire front desk and MA staff discussing my protected health information and laughing about the reasons behind my office visit.
Who hires incompetent people like this? and Why would you work in a health care setting if you have disgusting, repulsive, racist, and biased attitudes about minority groups?
I encourage you as new patients to look elsewhere especially if you are a minority! This office does a dis-service to marginalized communities and is part of the reason why there are so many health inequalities and injustices in present day providers.
