I wish I had seen these reviews before I went to this dealership. Now, notice they put "Church" as their name on Google. This is suspicious. They are trying to cover up their reputation as a dealership. I went in March to buy a car. It ran perfect during the test drive. There was a Karen that showed up, flipping out because she acted like she owned that car. She was ranting & raving that we were test driving "her" car. These guys are NICE. They greet you with a smile, they're happy to see you. That, I will give them. However, the quality of their cars is iffy, unless you buy cars to "flip them." Only buy from them to make an investment in repairs. Ahmed assured me there were no issues with the car. I bought the car. I live two hours away from their dealership. It overheated before I made it home. My mom made me call Sam's Automotive & they told me to take it back to the dealership. After paying a tow driver $315, it did go back to Sam's. They called me the next day to tell me the car was ready. I brought them doughnuts to thank them. Sam said it was a hose, while Ahmed said it was the radiator. They lost my key to the car but found it. So, I had my dad drive the car back. Thirty minutes after we left the dealership, the car overheats while my dad was driving it. So, we called for another tow. Ahmed said he would pay a mechanic to fix it. However, there was no mention about my towing fees. The mechanic, before he had a heart attack, was able to determine that the car had a bad water pump & likely, a blown head gasket. He confirmed that there was not a new radiator in the car, nor was there a new hose. So the car wasn't fixed at all. I started realizing I got screwed, to an extent. I filed a complaint with the BBB, obtained an attorney through Legal Aid under the grounds of Auto Dealer Fraud & a violation under the Unfair Trade Practices Act (in other words, a dealer is NOT allowed to lie to you about the condition of the car!) After I did that, Sam's Automotive began calling and harassing me & blowing my Messenger up on Facebook to intimidate me. The lawyer did not listen to me. I think because the lawyer was doing this via Legal Aid, instead of being paid big bucks, he just wanted to be lazy & not help me or maybe he is friends with these people because they all live in the same town. The lawyer even tried to manipulate me when I told him that they did not fix the car at all, they just SAID THEY DID. He said, "Well, you're just a bad, ungrateful person that these wonderful people fixed your car out of the kindness of their hearts & you turned around and attempted to sue them." Sam's Automotive had the audacity to tell the lawyer that they wanted my bad review on BBB REMOVED! In other words, the case got dropped. I ran low on funds, so I bought the water pump, thermostat, radiator, & head gasket set, then paid for ANOTHER TOW to bring the car home. My husband & I began studying repair manuals & we began fixing the car ourselves. Well, the water pump got changed, the thermostat got changed, it never overheated again, but it doesn't end, there. We cranked it & discovered something known as "piston slap." It will be $3,000 to repair. Now, in all fairness, cars with this mileage/year in top running condition usually go on KBB for $10,000-$11,000. I paid $5,800. Now I will be paying $3,000 to rebuild the engine. I paid $400 in parts & $652 in tows. That totals $9,852 out of my pocket for this car. In theory, maybe I did get a good deal. Depending on your situation, if you are a car dealer & can afford the repairs, then absolutely buy cars from Sam's. You can repair the cars & make a fortune. If you're a poor single mom, who only gets money at tax time, either buy one of their cheaper cars or go elsewhere. My babies were in the car both times it broke down, & it was cold, they froze and got sick. If you're a mechanic, feel free to shop at Sam's for cars. They're good INVESTMENT CARS. I don't like it that they lied about the condition and I am a published author of "Paradoxical Enigma." Find me on Facebook!
