Just came from here. Never had El Savadorian food, but had always driven past this restaurant and had wanted to try it. I love that area because it seems stuck in the '50s, with its worn down Mid Century Modern buildings etc, so it has a real, gritty feel to it. The minute I walked into the restaurant, I felt like I had stepped into a Latin American country: It was hot with only 2 ceiling fans, awesome music on the TV, many tables and great vibe. Told them I was from the motherland and needed something really hot and spicy. She recommended the Spicy Shrimp. I got that, plus a few Papusas. Everything was good, but the cheese and pork papusas were the best. Only wrong thing was that they gave me salad, when I had requested no salad and extra rice, but overall, the food was good and the staff, friendly. I would say go for the food, the ambience and the service!
