I was tattooed by Isaac 2x, the second time was a touchup. I was struck by how eclectic the interior was, everyone is very chill, the artist and the clientele, and I was always greeted upon entering the shop (as long as there were available artists.) Really great music, you won’t even want to use your own headphones!
I can only speak to Isaac for right now, but he was incredibly clean, changed his gloves every time he reached for a new bottle of something while doing my tattoo, very kind, it was a collaborative process, and I already feel more welcome in the shop due to my experience with him. There is a diverse clientele from what I can see, and a range of artists as well that match their clientele. In skin color, body type, and gender! (I am a black able bodied femme.)
As a local, this will definitely be added to my list of tattoo shops in San Francisco to revisit. The only thing I do wish, is that they had a bright sign on the exterior. It would match with the neon interior, and it would help distinguish it from the exterior sidewalk. Their shop front is a little flat and hard to find when you’re first coming to the shop. There is also a bathroom available to clients an artist alike.
