This Trader Joe's is much smaller than other Trader Joe's in existence. The parking lot is impossible as well. You go to this one when you don't have a choice because of both of those things. Sometimes the clientele here is very rude. But it is an upper scale area, and they tend to be uptight and snooty.
As for the employees, they are also hit or miss. Some of them are extremely friendly and just lovely. Then there are others that are just downright rude or have zero social skills, which is ironic as social skills is supposed to be a positive requirement in being hired here.
The awesome employees I've encountered that are always awesome and super nice and friendly are Jake, Pierce and Cameron. Whoever handpicked them did an incredible job. As for the baddies, those would be Y'Mari, Adrian and Pepe. Y'Mari, I asked how she was doing and she looks over with a thin smile says nothing. The entire time nothing. No hello, not have a nice day, no thank you. Nada. Throws receipt in bag and pushes it towards me and looks away. Pepe and Adrian were the same. Useless. We didn't exchange any words. Nothing. I don't expect conversation because I'm an introvert, but at least muster up a hello. Be polite when you're having to engage with someone. Y'Mari, Adrian and Pepe need to be given the axe. They're in the wrong job. Jake, Pierce and Cameron - excellent people! They redeem this Trader Joe's. I worked customer service for years, so I know what I'm talking about. And I've been responsible for hiring successful people for decades. I know the goods when I see them and the ones that just don't hack it.
