So where to begin.... Let's see I purchased a HP-1116 air pump and the product does not work well at all. Could be a defective pump??? I contacted customer service and if you read their return policy the purchaser is responsible for a 20% restocking fee and shipping cost back to the company. So, for a $35 pump I would have to spend $20 in shipping and restocking fee!!! In what world does this make sense!!! Customer service said my managers will tell you the same thing you must pay for return shipping and restocking fee. They are suppose to escalate to the shipping department and see what they can do to make things correct (probably will not happen). If so, I will change my review for the customer service department but at this point the company has left me no choice to provide them with 1 star. Most businesses (like 99%) these days will provide a return shipping label and not charge a restocking fee. Now I know checking on other reviews per this company to stay away and purchase somewhere else. Even a place that does not have a customer service department PROVIDES BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE BC ITS AUTOMATED. Shame on me for not doing my research . BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!! I gave customer service every chance to come through and do the right thing but all she did was read from a script (companies return policy) and said do you think its fair the company eats the price b/c you did not read the return policy...... YES!!! This company must have missed business 1 O' 1 THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!!!! If the company follows back up and provides a return shipping label I will change the status of my review but until then this post will stay as is. Good luck to the companies future success but if they keep the same standards in today's world I do not see this company staying in business.
