I needed to pick up some last-minute items for Halloween and it being the day before you know it is hard to find what you need. This was the third spirit of Halloween store that I went to and this one had a lot more items than any of the other stores. I didn't find much but I did find a few things but if I would have been looking for a costume last minute dish store in Citrus Heights would have definitely been the place for me to go. It was also a much bigger story than the other two. The other two locations were Arden and one that was off of Madison.

I always love going here because I am a Big Fan of Halloween. It's my Favorite holiday without a doubt, and they have Plenty of cool stuff to get lost looking at! I recommend the store for all you Halloween needs!

We weren't gonna celebrate Halloween this year because of COVID but then a safe opportunity came up for our kids and we needed costumes last minute. I really thought they'd have hardly any costumes left because Halloween is in 2 days but there was still a huge selection. That could be because fewer people are doing anything for halloween this year because of COVID. It was really busy but the staff were still really friendly and cheeeful.
The store had tape and signs and asked people to wear masks and social distance but the layout wasn't in any way conducive to following those guidelines. The aisles were tiny and often extended into the line for purchases.
Spirits are often somewhat haphazardly thrown together by nature but this one seemed well-manned so I give it 4 stars.

Not only did the woman from my first transaction not explain that wigs and any other items needed to be returned by the 28th were actually only exchange. Then because I opened the wig to put the receipt in they refused to take it back after I was told it was exchange only now....so I reluctantly spent another 30 mins looking for things to exchange it for and then they tell me I cant do that either. And tell me how a 9.99 item exchanged for a 7.99 item ended up costing ME 3 more dollar? This place is awful and unhelpful. I will never be taking my family to shop at spirit halloween again.
