I applied for a mortgage loan we were very clear with the assistant realtor Letty Alvarez that I had a green card, my husband had a w7 (itin number), she told us that the lender with they work George Richardson accept w7(itin number)first I applied but then the lender He asked in co-borrower, the assistant realtor told us that my husband was a good candidate, we explain her again that he had a w7, we sent the documents and Mr. George gave a letter of approval for 325 thousand dollars, we looked for the house and paid 10 thousand dollars for the due diligence, she (realtor assistant)explained to us that we can’t loose that money only way to lose that money was only if we no longer wanted the house, and she told us that we had to give that high amount because there was a big demand in the market and if we want to win the offer, we had to give more than 10 thousand dollars and she said that money was paid for the down payment of the house, there was also 3000 for the earnest money, she also told us that that money was returned if we did not buy the house ,We also paid 1000 dollars for the closing attorney, 500 dollars for the house appraisal and 300 dollars for the termite inspection, we spent more than 15 thousand dollars, on the closing day the loan officer said he cannot approve the loan because the doesn’t accept w7 (itin number) we lost that money since we had no one else to qualify for the loan , we lost that money because of their negligence of not knowing what bank oh lender they work with do not accept the itin number, we are people Seniors who get up at 4 in the morning to go to work in a factory, it is difficult for us to earn our money and it is not fair that for someone who does not do his job well, and give us really bad advice and we believe in everything what they said,The realtor never spoke to me, he spoke once with my daughter-in-law the day he showed the house to her because I was working and told her to put a high offer of 325 thousand because that was worth the house, he never explained the contract, once I called him he did not answer, who send me text messages was the person who works with him, we always spoke with his assistant Letty Alvarez, also he lied to the loan officer sayin the w7 is a permit to work in USA,when all the realtors know w7 is a number only for undocumented people to do their taxes.
