You can enjoy beach time, biking, hiking, and watersports like kayaking and paddleboarding. For history buffs, there are trolley tours of the historic district and visits to the Jekyll Island Museum. Families might enjoy Summer Waves Water Park or the Georgia Sea Turtle Center.Most travel on the island is walking-jogging, bikes or golf carts. The highest speed limit anywhere is 35 but golf carts and bikes on the same road the golf cart top speed is 25 so most traffic on jekyll is under 35.
