This place is HUGE! Even though it’s a bit out of the way for me, it’s totally worth the drive—especially from Tacoma. Like most dog parks, there’s a group of regulars, which is great for dogs who enjoy seeing familiar faces. It also makes for a...Read More

This is my favorite dog park! It is well maintained and has a lot of ground for you and your dogs to cover. They never get bored with the versatile areas and there are lots of other dogs to play.
There is a building near the main entrance parking area that has 4 restrooms, two on each side. It has been very convenient!

Fort Steilacoom Off-Leash Dog park is massive. Twenty two acres of fenced play area. Most of the park is an open field with little shade. It has two drinking stations inside and one outside by the SE parking lot. It also has an agility course.

I visited with my mini st. berdoodle while picking up someone in town, but we don't live close enough to come regularly (about a 2 hour drive, give or take, depending on traffic!) I wish we did live closer, because we found this dog...Read More
I appreciated the bathrooms right near the parking lot/e trance to the dog parks as I needed to make a pit stop for myself as well, however, I was disappointed both restrooms (one single men/women, one handicapped) were out of soap. Minor detail.

For lack of another park label on google maps I will include this description here. This is a great park in addition to the dog park. There are many dirt trails and a paved loop around the lake. There are interpretive signs and a trail...Read More

We got to meet all kinds of doggie friends! So nice they have the small dog enclosure for the newbies like us to get acclimated. Lots of fun for my 3 mini schnauzers Collin, Cooper and Chloé.

Our dogs had a wonderful time running in very large open, but fenced areas. Plenty of space for them to feel comfortable around other dogs and visitors. Plus access to drinking water.
Loved the park. Lots of space for the dogs to run off leash. Several areas fenced with water access. Restrooms nearby if you need them.

This is one of the only dog parks I take mine to. Lots of space to run, a few different fenced areas, and water in different locations. Also nice to take a walk around the lake. We love it!

Huge dog park, divided into smaller paddocks. My dog loves to run & play here. It must be special because I drive 45 minutes each way to visit!

Such a great dog park. Tons of room. People seemed to be respectful of one another, and there’s even an agility training area.
