Only 3 parking spots. One is reserved for physically challenged person. Nicely maintained Memorial. They also have a walking trail. Garden is well maintained. They have a bulb 💡 at the tower top. They have famous lines from Mr Edison quoted here. Also his journey...Read More

GREAT local museum! So much history to be explored here. The first ever street lit by electric light is the street the museum is located on. Very friendly and informative staff. So many great facts to be found here, Jersey pride! It's a must visit!...Read More

A compact venue with two rooms. However, what is in those rooms counts far more. The volunteers and the team on the ground give a great walk thru. I have been to many museums with big grounds and panels of information. However, what i got to...Read More

Walkable from the Metropark station, but you need to walk without a sidewalk. The museum works just a few days per week. I didn't visit the museum itself.

The museum doesn’t seem very large from the outside, but there’s a wealth of information inside. As a local, it’s still hard for me to process the idea that it’s the site of the first incandescently-lit street in the world. The tour was great and...Read More

We did not go into the museum. My wife and I took a ride with our dog and decided to take a look at this site. Very comfortable grounds with benches and luckily plenty of shade. It was a very hot day. Very impressed with...Read More
