Some of the locals recommended this to me and my kids, so we decided to try it for lunch. The staff seemed friendly enough, and the atmosphere was nice when we walked in. A cozy dinner feel. We were unfortunately disappointed with the food. I ordered adobo chicken. It seemed to be overcooked, hard to cut and dry. The rice didn't look or taste fresh. My younger son wanted nuggets and fries, which seemed simple enough. When they arrived, I took a bite before he did, and the inside was completely raw. These appeared to be real chicken, not ground chicken like the grocery store. Our server apologized and took it back, and brought a new plate (I like to think this was a new plate anyway) with fewer nuggets that appeared to be fully cooked, but we were all completely turned off at this point. I feel queasy just typing about it after tasting raw chicken. We weren't offered a comped dish or meal. I guess I could have asked, but I was just grossed out and ready to leave. I'm hoping I don't feel sick later this evening. Sadly, I won't return during our future vacations!
