I recently dined at Guadalajara Fiesta Grill, and I have to say, the food was fantastic—rich, bold flavors that really hit the mark. The table-side salsa and guacamole were absolute fire, made fresh right in front of us, and packed with flavor. It’s clear they know what they’re doing in the kitchen, and for that alone, I wish I could say I’d be back in a heartbeat. However, the service left much to be desired. Unfortunately, it was the slowest service I’ve ever experienced at any restaurant. We waited forever just to place our drink orders, and once we finally got our drinks, they were rarely refilled, despite us trying to flag someone down multiple times. When our meals arrived, we politely asked our server, Celeste, for a few more chips, and she grabbed the bowls with a serious attitude. Not sure what had upset her, but her demeanor made the experience uncomfortable.Again, the food was on point, so it’s a real shame the service didn’t match up. While I appreciate good food, the long wait times and unfriendly service were deal-breakers. As much as I enjoyed the flavors, I simply wouldn’t return based on the poor service. If they can work out the service issues, this place could be a real gem. For now, though, it’s hard to recommend.
