It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and the first time I saw any place have a patio seating that was full with only indoor seating available. What a rare and special occasion for Dallas weather when it was just snowing a couple weeks back. Anyways, the place is warm and has a good flow, very welcoming. Our server Mikaela was very cheerful and helpful. You can tell she was super busy but did her best. I had quite a bit of food and it was a very busy time. So manage your expectations if a place is slammed and if things take longer or food isn’t at its absolute perfect best. For a place that was slammed, they sure delivered some mighty tasty and unique creations. Matt also came by and also gave some great recommendations. It was a pleasure speaking to Matt and the time he spent with me, especially during a busy time. Kudos to Matt for such a well run establishment with food that beautifully delivers. My kids love pepperoni so I had to get that. I also had the arugula pancetta pizza, potato pancetta, another pizza with little special peppers and house made sausage, Caesar salad, artichoke dip, and a sundae. It was If you like artichoke dip and you like crab, you MUST try here. The hardest thing for a pizza place to get right is the bread and this place is a master of it. Every pizza had the perfect crust, hold, texture, and taste. The specialty pizzas delivered a unique and memorable taste, the Caesar salad had great flavor, sourdough bread toasted to perfection, and the sundae was very enjoyable. If you’re anything like me, picking a favorite restaurant is like choosing a favorite child. I love all my children equally. And this spot holds a very special spot as one of my favorites as well. If you’re wanting to try to find the perfect pizza place, this is definitely has to be one of your strong contenders.
